Aquatic Guardians offers swimming lessons and drowning prevention to underprivileged students. Our mission: empower with life-saving skills, fostering confidence in water safety. Through education and outreach, we aim to reduce drowning risks and promote wellness for all. Join us in making a splash, one lesson at a time.

In the United States:
- Drowning ranks as the primary cause of death among children aged 1 to 4, with a notable impact on communities of color.
- Black children are 5.5 times more likely to drown in a swimming pool compared to their Caucasian peers.
- The risk of drowning death increases significantly as children grow older. For Black children aged 10 to 14, the risk increases to more than three and a half times higher.

- According to the most recent statistics from USA Swimming, 79% of children from low-income families have low to no swimming ability.
- 9 in 10 parents see swimming as a key life skill for children, on par with first aid skills and the ability to prepare a meal.
- Despite this, unique generational and racial inequities persist when it comes to ensuring all parents and children are safe and confident around water. Affordability and accessibility are major barriers for parents from various racial and ethnic backgrounds.
